An Auckland Walks guide talks you on an entertaining two hour discovery experience around the central city.
Rich encounters with almost a thousand years of history since Maori first settled Tamaki Makarau ("the place desired by many") take you from the waterfront, through the lower city and into Albert Park, Auckland University and return.
Natural and social history, historic places, public art and heritage architecture are all embraced as well as some of the city's retail, dining and entertainment opportunities.
Bookings essential. Minimum two persons
Available daily at 10Am. Other times by arrangement.

What To Bring: Please dress appropriately for the weather. Expect the weather to be changeable - Auckland is built on an isthmus between two large bodies of ocean and can experience four seasons in a single day. Bring water and an umbrella can be useful rain or shine!
